Recycled Modern Mirror

I enjoy making lots of modern home decor and art but one day I noticed I had a lot of magazines that needed to be used up or thrown out. So I decided to use them to make a mirror with materials I already had at home. Here are some pictures of the process of before and after. Let me know what you think!

I am in the beginning stages of venturing out into the home decor and design world! I have been making head boards, mirrors, art, pillows, chandeliers, and so on for quite some time and have been getting several requests to make some for many people. Better Homes & Gardens Wax Candle Melts

I am in COMPLETE heaven over these. I have tried about 7 different scents and they are smell amazing and make your entire house smell so good! I have tried so many different brands of candle melts and oils for my oil burner and never found one quite like these. The best part about them is that they only cost $2.00 for 6 large wax cubes. Has any one else tried them, if not get on out to Wal-Mart and get them.
So far my favorite ones are the Sugared Melon Kiwi, Wild Berry Cheesecake, and Spiced Pumpkin Pie which will be great for the Holidays.

Vegetarian Pasta, Cake Balls And Fishing

This weekend was a wonderful weekend! We took the boys fishing (fish and release) and they caught so many fish they were thrilled! I also did some baking and make some delicious cake balls. They were pretty easy to make but are a bit time consuming. I also made a vegetarian pasta that has now made a spot on my weekly menu! I hope you all had a great weekend and as always here are some pictures of my weekend.

104 degree temps today? Indoor Photography and cooking sounds like a plan!

The heat sure is too much to be outdoors. Good thing we have a pool in the back for times like this. No photo shoots scheduled for today so this means I have time to catch up on baking and trying out some recipes. I managed to have some fresh pumpkin puree and want to make something wonderful with it. Here are a few meals I have cooked recently
